This Is Rock 'n' Roll Radio # 870
Welcome back to another exciting example of The Best Three Hours Of Radio On The Whole Friggin' Planet, This Is Rock 'n' Roll Radio with Dana & Carl. This week, we cast our dim widdle spotlight on the music of Cotton Mather, a long-time TIRnRR Fave Rave. How long? We first played Cotton Mather on our fourth show, January 17th, 1999, and we've played 'em ever since. For this week's extravaganza, we mixed some of the best of Cotton Mather in with the other varied delights detailed below, and just felt all smug 'n' superior (much like the original Cotton Mather, though presumably not like the cuddly 'n' engaging Cotton Mather band), while still retaining a chip on our shoulder and a song in our hearts. We even found a '60s classic by The Kinks that we somehow never got around to playing before. Pop music! Pop music is its own reward. And this is what rock 'n' roll radio sounded like on a Sunday night in Syracuse this week.
