This Is Rock 'n' Roll Radio # 888
Still fighting a lingering sense of sheer exhaustion after Friday night's epic 40th anniversary live celebration of the splendor of The Flashcubes, we nonetheless mustered the will to slap together another fine example of The Best Three Hours Of Radio On The Friggin' Planet. And it wasn't really all that hard to do. New music from Somerdale, The Forty Nineteens, Coke Belda, Gordy Garris, Stag, and The Doughboys, plus a great new tribute album called Not The Knack, and we were off and stumbling...but still stumbling across the finish line before anyone else. Time for our nap!
For well-rested music-fans throughout Central New York, this coming Saturday night September 9th will offer an opportunity to see The Go Rounds in concert at Nelson Odeon (http://nelsonodeon.com/calendar/go-rounds/). To celebrate, we served up the long-overdue TIRnRR debut of The Go Rounds, and ordered everyone to go to the show. Meanwhile, this is what rock 'n' roll radio sounded like on a Sunday night in Syracuse this week.
