Tonight On THIS IS ROCK 'N' ROLL RADIO
The Corner Laughers have a new album called Temescal Telegraph due out in June, and it presents an immediate problem for dedicated rockin' pop DJs: with such a superfine album, how the hell can we pick just ONE track to play on our show? We compromised by programming two tracks. Ours is the wisdom of Solomon. We'll supplement The Corner Laughers with more great new stuff from Diamond Hands, The Gold Needles, The Bookends, and Richard Turgeon, another track from The Monkees' new live album, and an extra-long set of tracks from various tribute albums, and then sifting through the ol' music library for varied dazzles 'n' delightments from The Beatles and The Four Tops through Justine and the Unclean. Problem solved. Radio achieved. Sunday night, 9 to Midnight Eastern, on the air in Syracuse at SPARK! WSPJ 103.3 and 93.7 FM, http://sparksyracuse.org/
