As the above graphic says, I'll be making an in-store appearance this Wednesday, August 16th--hey, that's TOMORROW!!--at Sound Garden in Syracuse. I'll be there from 7:00 to whenever--might be an hour, might be twenty minutes--on behalf of my book Gabba Gabba Hey! A Conversation With The Ramones.
I'm going to decide on the fly Wednesday night what this in-store will entail. I may read from the book, or I may just chat directly with whomever shows up. I'll probably play some brief audio snippets from my 1994 telephone interviews with the Ramones, interviews that are the book's primary raison d'ĂȘtre.
There will be copies of Gabba Gabba Hey! available for purchase at Sound Garden. If anyone wants their own personal copy defaced with my signature, I will be gabba-gabba giddy to comply.
This is my final scheduled personal appearance hawking Gabba Gabba Hey! I'm not ruling out doing more in-stores--I enjoy them, and they seem to move a few friggin' books--but this is likely the last one for now. !Adios Amigos! Unless, y'know, there's another offer.
So! Wanna talk about the Ramones? Wanna hear ME talk about the Ramones? Here's your Carbona-kissed opportunity. Hope to see you at Sound Garden tomorrow night.
