As we were getting ready to program this week's rockin' pop extravaganza, we knew that the Midnight Callers were planning to release a new single called "The Eraser." We'd heard the single (courtesy of YouTube sensation Matthew Street), so we already knew it was fantastic anna half. We also knew it would be available a couple of days before the show aired...but a couple of days AFTER the show had been recorded. Too late for us to spin here, right?
Well. This calls for hyper-speed.
We contacted our pal Maureen, high priestess of publicity for the mighty Jem Records. She understood, she did the Samantha thing with her nose, and VOILA! "The Eraser" was in our possession. It opens our show this week.
Never underestimate the power of hyper-speed.
