This Is Rock 'n' Roll Radio # 1236

I clearly love music too much. Or rather: There's too much music that I love.

And I'm okay with that. Oh, I'm very okay with that.

Inspired by our friend and intrepid TIRnRR stats man Fritz Van Leaven, I've begun another attempt at updating a list of my all-time Hot 100 favorite tracks. My first recent pass at an update netted about 340 worthy songs, and that already excluded a number of little ditties that I absolutely adore. I've since whittled things down to 176 songs, and I'm going to try to bring it down to a mere 100.

Maybe. Maybe not. But I'll try.

And succeed or fail, it's a great problem to have. Music, man. How can a love of music be excessive? Let's immerse ourselves in the sounds we love. This is what rock 'n' roll radio sounded like on another Sunday night in Syracuse this week.

This Is Rock 'n' Roll Radio with Dana & Carl airs Sunday nights from 9 to Midnight Eastern, on the air in Syracuse at SPARK! WSPJ 103.3 and 93.7 FM, streaming at SPARK stream, and on the Radio Garden app as WESTCOTT RADIO. Recent shows are archived at Westcott Radio
