In tribute to the late TOM VERLAINE, we're going to mix in a lot of our favorites from 1970s punk and the punk periphery right alongside our other rockin' pop selections. We have new music from 28IF (with RAY PAUL), THE PLUS 4, and OLD TOWN CRIER, their fresh appeal supplemented by associatin' with the likes of THE RAMONES, BARRETT STRONG, TALKING HEADS, THE WEEKLINGS, THE SHIRTS, STEVE STOECKEL, BLONDIE, THE EXCITERS, THE DICTATORS, NIKKI AND THE CORVETTES, RICHARD HELL AND THE VOIDOIDS, THE CYNZ, THE HEARTBREAKERS (both the TOM PETTY group and the JOHNNY THUNDERS combo), JUNIPER, THE FLASHCUBES, MAJOR LANCE, PATTI SMITH, THE MONKEES, and TUFF DARTS. And, of course, we'll hear a few tunes from Verlaine's amazing former group TELEVISION. It's ALL pop music. And whether it's punk, pop, soul, rock, or what-have-you, it has meant the world to us. Sunday night, 9 to Midnight Eastern, on the air in Syracuse at SPARK! WSPJ 103.3 and 93.7 FM, and via the TuneIn Radio and Radio Garden apps as WESTCOTT RADIO. The weekend stops HERE!
