This Is Rock 'n' Roll Radio # 1195

To the Batmobile! And turn up the radio. We need a little soundtrack for our caped crusadin'. Commisioner! Get Tamar Berk on the Hot Line.

A rockin' pop radio show can't go wrong if it opens with new music from Tamar Berk. From Tamar's brand-new album Tiny Injuries, "Sunday Driving" is a righteously radio-ready joyride, fully aware of impending road hazards but barreling ahead anyway. Hey! Just like US! The lyrics say Sunday driving is not the way to go. We respectfully disagree. Atomic batteries to power. Turbines to speed. Roger! Ready to move out.

As our own little mutant radio program speeds toward imminent collision with its [gulp] 1200th show a mere five weeks from now, we continue to crave the music that drives us. Our internet server was down this week--we suspect the Joker is involved--but we did the show anyway, knowing that proper webcastin' capabilities will be tuned up and restored faster'n you can drop a checkered flag, or even light the flippin' Bat-Signal. Sunday driving. It's what radio was made for. And this is what rock 'n' roll radio sounded like on another Sunday night in Syracuse this week.

This show is available as a podcast.

This Is Rock 'n' Roll Radio with Dana & Carl airs Sunday nights from 9 to Midnight Eastern, on the air in Syracuse at SPARK! WSPJ 103.3 and 93.7 FM, streaming at SPARK stream, and on the Radio Garden app as WESTCOTT RADIO. Recent shows are archived at Westcott Radio
