This Is Rock 'n' Roll Radio # 901

It's not that bad here. Yet.
Snow falls in Syracuse. It's December, so no one's surprised by colder temperatures and chilly white crystals in the air. 2017 is packing its things, eyeing warmer days and the leisurely life of a retired number, a soon-to-be yesteryear. It knows a glow of nostalgia may prove elusive, but we can't blame the year for whatever happened on its watch. It's just another year; we're the ones that made it what it was, for better or for worse. As 2017 prepares to punch the clock for its few remaining weeks, we provide the soundtrack for that calendar's final page.

This last regular This Is Rock 'n' Roll Radio of 2017 served up new music from Chris Richards & the Subtractions, Ken Sharp, Wayne James & the List of Names, and The JAC, and mixed it all with prized selections from This Is Rock 'n' Roll Radio, Volume 4 (the best compilation CD of the year) and other gems from the past and the present. Was 2017 the best of times and the worst of times? Yeah. It was just '17. If you know what I mean.

NEXT WEEK: The 19th Annual This Is Rock 'n' Roll Radio Christmas Show! And this is what rock 'n' roll radio sounded like on a Sunday night in Syracuse this week.
