This Is Rock 'n' Roll Radio # 843

Yes! This is where we issue greetings from This Is Rock 'n' Roll Radio with Dana & Carl! And yeah, this is The Best Three Hours Of Radio On The Whole Friggin' Planet--we have the hype to prove it! I had a family commitment this week, leaving Dana with the sole responsibility for slappin' together a transcendent radio show. Part of the strength of TIRnRR is that either of us is capable of creating a blockbuster solo program if we gotta, and Dana certainly did that this week. And he did so while playin' hurt, bedeviled by seasonal hobgoblins. Did it slow him down? YES! Did he complain about it? HELL, yes! But he powered through nonetheless, to the boundless delight of our discerning TIRnRR Faithful. Attaboy, Dana!

Think you could do it? Okay by us! Generous patrons who donate $100 or more to http://sparksyracuse.org/support/ earn the opportunity to program the music for a future episode of TIRnRR. Furthermore, those Guest Programmers who send us their C-notes before October 22nd, 2016, will also be entered into a drawing, with the one 'n' only Grand Prize of programming a specific additional episode: our showstoppin' 850th show! Rules 'n' regs apply, so let's get those Franklins flyin' our way!

NEXT WEEK: my irascible co-host and my lovely wife team up for the first-ever edition of The Dana & Brenda Show!  And this is what rock 'n' roll radio sounded like on a Sunday night in Syracuse this week.

This Is Rock 'n' Roll Radio with Dana & Carl streams live every Sunday night from 9 to Midnight Eastern, exclusively at www.westcottradio.org The weekend stops HERE!
