THE WEEKEND'S COMING! Vegas With Randolph Featuring Lannie Flowers on THIS IS ROCK 'N' ROLL RADIO, VOLUME 4

With exactly two weeks remaining before studio mastering of This Is Rock 'n' Roll Radio, Volume 4, we're pleased to finally announce that the ever-fab Lannie Flowers is joining forces with the mighty Vegas With Randolph for a new TIRnRR#4 track called "The Weekend's Coming." The song was co-written by Vegas With Randolph and Lannie Flowers, and it's a match made in TIRnRR Heaven. "The Weekend's Coming" by Vegas With Randolph Featuring Lannie Flowers will make its debut on This Is Rock 'n' Roll Radio, Volume 4. We've always said the weekend stops here!

Our forthcoming compilation has also been getting some love 'n' appreciation from the dean of power pop radio, Alan HaberRay Paul's TIRnRR#4 track "I Need Your Love Tonight" debuted on our show Sunday, and has now been added to the latest edition of Alan's Pure Pop Radio. Alan digs it! Let's scan what he had to say:

“'I Need Your Love Tonight' mines both the sweet and crunchy sides of The Raspberries sound (with just a hint of The Grass Roots) for four minutes of indisputable proof that this heritage artist, whose work passionately promoting indie pop artists is well-known and treasured, is top of the pops.

Ray’s signature, booming bass and strong vocals (stronger than ever, actually), Terry Draper’s drums, tambourine and piano, and Bill Nadeau’s crunchy guitars distinguish 'I Need Your Love Tonight,' co-produced in grand style last month by Ray and Terry at Terry’s Swamp Manor studio in Oak Ridges, ON, Canada. The track is certain to be one of the highlights of the much-anticipated This is Rock ‘n’ Roll Radio Volume 4 compilation, being released by Ray Gianchetti’s Kool Kat Musik label."
Well, the man knows his pop music! You can read Alan's full comments over at Pure Pop Radio, and then follow links to listen for yourself.
There are still two TIRnRR#4 artists we can't reveal yet, both of them with ties to Central New York. They are confirmed, but we haven't finalized a specific or two. For one of these two tracks, it's a simple matter of determining whether or not we have room to squeeze it in--this CD is jam-packed! For the other, we know what song we're using, but it's been recorded under a few different artist names, and we haven't yet determined which nom du bop we're goin' with. At this late date, we're still waiting on a few final masters, too. If we're missing stuff on mastering day, I figure I'm just gonna go into the studio and whistle renditions of my original songs "A Wombat In Love" and "My Kneecap Loves Your Kneecap." We must all pray that does not happen.

The current public list of contributors and tracks appears below. The Flashcubes' track will be one of two Gary Frenay-penned pop gems. We've updated one of the two [redacted] potential tracks to indicate the song title. We're gonna try like hell to squeeze in the other one, too. A sample of the cover art should be available soon.
