Coming Soon: BOPPIN' THE WHOLE FRIGGIN' PLANET (The History Of THIS IS ROCK 'N' ROLL RADIO)

I'm looking at the calendar. And I see a milestone anniversary looming this month for our little mutant radio show This Is Rock 'n' Roll Radio. To celebrate twenty years as The Best Three Hours Of Radio On The Whole Friggin' Planet, it's time to take a stab at telling our story in detail: from our prehistory 1991-1998, through our debut on December 27th of 1998, through all we've done since then, Boppin' (Like The Hip Folks Do) is going to attempt a definitive, multi-part chronicle of the history of the weekly radio show too clueless and stubborn to die, This Is Rock 'n' Roll Radio with Dana & Carl.

Sound fascinating? Boring? Could be either one, I suppose. But we've lasted long enough that we need to commit to some kind of document of how we got here. I'm going to treat this subject as if it mattered, whether it mattered or not. Stay tuned. There will be pop music. Human interest. Success. Failure. Possibly more failure than success. Also junk food. I guarantee you no one else could tell this story like it will be told right here. From We're Your Friends For Now to whatever it is we're doing now, this is the story of This Is Rock 'n' Roll Radio.
