This Is Rock 'n' Roll Radio # 958

Tabula rasa.

Following three weeks of special programming, This Is Rock 'n' Roll Radio with Dana & Carl begins the process of building its 21st year as The Best Three Hours Of Radio On The Whole Friggin' Planet. We'll play a lot of great records. Some records will enjoy repeat spins, and some will make it to the airwaves only once. We'll have Featured Artists. We'll mourn the inevitable passing of some of our heroes. We'll possibly try some kooky gimmicks here and there, unless we don't. One never knows until it's time. We'll embrace shiny things, again and again. There will be new music, and there will always be the familiar presence of Fave Raves. If we remain on schedule, we'll hit TIRnRR # 1000 in November. A Christmas show in December. And, at year's end, a countdown. We've got some music to play. Tabula rasa. Let's start filling in that big blank space. This is what rock 'n' roll radio sounds like on a Sunday night in Syracuse this week.

This Is Rock 'n' Roll Radio with Dana & Carl, Sunday nights from 9 to Midnight Eastern, on the air in Syracuse on The Spark WSPJ-LP 103.3 and 93.7 FM, and on the web at http://sparksyracuse.org/
