For anyone interested in supporting this blog and its ongoing efforts to get the word invigmoratin' added to the OED, I've reinstated my long-dormant Patreon page. While it may never again match the dizzying success of the $5 a month it was pipelining into my greedy coffers when I pulled its plug in 2023, one never knows when the the general public may be struck with sudden Boppinmania. If that finally happens, Patreon's operators will be standing by.

We're keeping it simple with two available tiers of support:

For $3 a month: Gratitude! UNDYING gratitude! Even better, you'll also receive a bonus, previously-unpublished blog post. Each month's bonus blog post will initially ONLY be available to patrons, and will not be published for the public until at least one month after its distribution to patrons.

For $5 a month:You! You generous, debonair, sweet-smellin', hot-lookin' Patron O' The Arts, you! At the hoity-toity $5 monthly level, you get the bonus monthly private post, and you get to suggest the topic for a future blog post. Now, this ain't the blog equivalent of a suicide pact--I still retain the right to opt out of your suggestion if I think it's inappropriate for me--but I'll make a good-faith effort to accommodate as many of your suggestions as I can. You'll also receive a personal note from me via snail-mail, along with a badly-drawn sketch of some super-hero (my choice--my skills are limited). 

All supporters will also receive an email of each day's public blog post. Members have access to my Patreon archives, including past private posts. The first in the new series of monthly private bonus posts will be the current draft of my liner notes for the forthcoming various-artists compilation Make Something Happen! A Tribute To A DIY Power Pop Band Called THE FLASHCUBES, along with a (mostly) unredacted look at the album's roster of rockin' pop stars and the Flashcubes songs they've chosen to cover. That Cubic sneak peek will post on June 1st to all who sign up in time.

So, y'know...SIGN UP! I'm told there are dozens of dollars to be made in the blogging industry nearly every year.  Let's put the PAY back in Patreon. A blogger's potato chip supply doesn't just pay for itself, man.
