COMIC BOOK COVER GALLERY: A few SUPERMAN-related comics I acquired in the '60s, '70s, and '80s

I had a comic book cover gallery planned to run today...and then I saw the new trailer for the upcoming Superman movie. In fact, I saw it more than a dozen times. You can see it again here, and I may write more about its spot-on interpretation of the Man of Steel in a near-future post. I cannot wait to see this flick in theatres in July.

Meanwhile, here's a gallery representing the covers from a few of the many, many Superman-related comics I owned in the '60s, '70s, and '80s. I still buy Superman, Action Comics, Batman Superman World's Finest, Justice League Unlimited, and the new Superman Unlimited. But I'm sticking with the era of acquisition I've established for these galleries, focused exclusively on books I got from childhood through my twenties.

As always: No, these aren't actual photos of comics in my collection. But I did have each and every one of 'em at some point in time. For now, we invite you to LOOK! Up in the SKY...!
