This Is Rock 'n' Roll Radio # 1015

Well, this is a show.

I can't take any credit for it. I was home on Sunday night, plotting a complicated revenge scheme against the cold symptoms that took me outta commission for a few days. I'll show them; mark my words! Meanwhile, Dana put together yet another stirring example of The Best Three Hours Of Radio On The Whole Friggin' Planet. He welcomed the fabulous Wild Kisses to our little Play-Tone Galaxy O' Stars, and you can bet you'll be hearing them again in the coming weeks. And he opened the show with new music from Pop Co-Op.

Now, new music from Pop Co-Op is always cause for celebration, joy, merriment, consumption of consumables, and dancing of the Freddie, the Twist, the Locomotion, and the Hotsie-Totsie, often all at the same time. This particular shot of new music from Pop Co-Op comes from Garden Of Earthly Delights, a fantastic new XTC tribute album due out March 6th from our heroes at Futureman Records. Garden Of Earthly Delights also supplied this week's show with ace tracks by Dot Dash, Pete Donnelly, and The Anderson Council. As in our Wild Kisses example cited above, expect to hear more from Garden Of Earthly Delights as TIRnRR Hotsie-Totsies its way forward.

But man--I missed out on a chance to open a show with new music from Pop Co-Op, just because I had a little cough. Damn those doomed cold symptoms. I wish we could figure out a way to open next week's show with more new music from Pop Co-Op. Oooh, better yet! To open next week's show with THE WORLD RADIO PREMIERE OF A NEW POP CO-OP SONG!

I wonder how we could pull that off. Better make some phone calls. Cold symptoms, hit the bricks. Dana and I have work to do. Nose to the grindstone. Shoulder to the wheel.

Return to factory settings.

This is what rock 'n' roll radio sounded like on a Sunday night in Syracuse this week.
