This Is Rock 'n' Roll Radio # 1121

Watch the sunrise.

The sun shines to the extent it's able to shine, over a world containing unequal shares of the beautiful and the grotesque, light and dark, impossible heights and terrifying depths. The good things are not to the sun's credit. The bad things aren't the sun's fault.

But we live under the glow of the sun.

Our lives are filled with a series of impactful moments. We hope some of those moments are positive, and we know that many will not be. We try to survive our losses, and we embrace whatever triumphs we're allowed along the way. We hold and cherish our loved ones. We play our music, immerse ourselves in the arts and endeavors that captivate us. We make our way as best we can.

You are not alone. We are not alone.

We offer you some music. We know it's not a substitute for acts of substance. But it can be a comfort, and comfort is not a bad thing. Watch the sunrise. This is what comfort sounded like on a Sunday night in Syracuse this week.

This Is Rock 'n' Roll Radio with Dana & Carl airs Sunday nights from 9 to Midnight Eastern, on the air in Syracuse at SPARK!
