The Many Loves Of Dobie Gillis (DC Comics) # 12

From 1962, here's the 12th issue of DC Comics' The Many Loves Of Dobie Gillis, inspired by the hit TV sitcom starring Dwayne Hickman and Bob Denver. I have no credits on hand, but the plethora of cute girls contained herein would certainly indicate the work of artist Bob Oksner. For that matter, everything about the art would indicate the work of artist Bob Oksner. His depiction of Denver's Maynard G. Krebs character here seems very similar to his depiction of Jerry Lewis in DC's long-running The Adventures Of Jerry Lewis.  But, yeah--the girls. Along with work by Nick Cardy, J. Scott Pike, and Archie artists like Dan DeCarlo, Oksner's women were among the prettiest in Silver Age comic books.

This material is copyright the respective owners. Its appearance here is intended as fair use. Now, from 1962, please enjoy the twelfth issue of DC Comics' The Many Loves Of Dobie Gillis.
