Sunday January 28th marks exactly 40 years since that evening in 1978 when I first stumbled upstairs to The Orange to witness a live show by my soon-to-be-favorite band, The Flashcubes. Can't let THAT milestone go unnoticed! So all of my selections on tonight's This Is Rock 'n' Roll Radio with Dana & Carl will be Flashcubes tracks. That's half the show, roughly every other track over the course of three hours, with Dana filling in with other varied rockin' pop delights (including a fab new tribute to Matthew Sweet). This oughtta be the most Flashcubes music ever played within a single radio show, and you should join us for Flashcubes favorites, deep tracks, and maybe an unreleased live cut or two.
