THE GREATEST RECORD EVER MADE: "Waterloo Sunset"

The release this week of the fab new compilation Waterloo Sunset--Tribute To This Is Rock 'n' Roll Radio prompts a desire to post this chapter from my forthcoming book The Greatest Record Ever Made! (Volume 1). Although I intend to refrain from public posting of too many chapters from the book, this one has previously been seen here in a slightly different form, so I say its GREM! entry is fair game.

An infinite number of songs can each be THE greatest record ever made, as long as they take turns. Today, this is The Greatest Record Ever Made!

THE KINKS: "Waterloo Sunset"

The original post has been unpublished for bookkeeping purposes. It can be seen as a chapter in my book The Greatest Record Ever Made! (Volume 1)
