Each week, the pop culture website Pop-A-Looza shares some posts from my vast 'n' captivating Boppin' (Like The Hip Folks Do) archives. The latest shared post is all about me: the About The Author bio for my forthcoming book.
My first book is tentatively set for publication in March of 2023. Our latest Boppin' Pop-A-Looza is the single most self-serving entry shared to date, and I thank Pop-A-Looza's Dan Pavelich for indulging me on this one. It really is a coincidence--the playlist was set and the show already recorded before I wrote the shared post--but Dan's group the Click Beetles happens to appear in this Sunday night's proud presentation of This Is Rock 'n' Roll Radio # 1150, airing 9 to Midnight Eastern, on the air in Syracuse at SPARK! WSPJ 103.3 and 93.7 FM, on the web at http://sparksyracuse.org/, and via the TuneIn Radio and Radio Garden apps as Westcott Radio. You should oughtta tune in. I may even reveal the title of my book, right there on the air.
One book can lead to another. One hopes! My long-threatened book The Greatest Record Ever Made! (Volume 1) remains a real possibility, and I may also self-publish a collection of my short stories (tentatively titled Guitars Vs. Rayguns). Maybe. But it starts with my first book. My first book! That book's About The Author hype serves as the latest Boppin' Pop-A-Looza.
