THE GREATEST RECORD EVER MADE! An appearance on MATERIAL ISSUES, a review at POWER POP NEWS

I had a wonderful time last night guesting on Material Issues with Mark Hershberger and David Bash. It's fun to banter about pop music with folks who know pop music, and Mark and Dave certainly know pop music. We discussed my book The Greatest Record Ever Made! (Volume 1), and we also talked about This Is Rock 'n' Roll Radio with Dana & Carl, about the importance of radio, and about the Beatles, the Ramones, the Flashcubes, the Monkees, Verdelle Smith, Batman, Dr. Shroud, and the prescience of Gene Roddenberry. It was enormous fun for me, and I thank Mark, Dave, and the entire Legion of Material Issues Heroes for welcoming me into this particular rockin' pop community. If you missed it, you can watch it here, and you can subscribe so that you never miss another exciting weekly edition of Material Issues.

My GREM! book also received a positive review at Power Pop News. PPN's Richard Rossi is a long-time friend of This Is Rock 'n' Roll Radio, and he's been among the most consistent supporters of whatever the hell it is we do. Thanks, Rich! You can read Rich's review of The Greatest Record Ever Made! (Volume 1) right here.

There are a few more GREM!- and/or TIRnRR-related appearances coming up soon, including a near-future episode of the way-fab Only Three Lads podcast with your Dana and your Carl. We'll tell you about all of these as they occur.

For now, once again: Into the infinite!
