THE GREATEST RECORD EVER MADE! (Volume 1): a summary so far

Our favorite records don't live in isolation. Each one has a story to tell.

My long-threatened book The Greatest Record Ever Made! (Volume 1) is based on a conviction that an infinite number of tracks can each be THE greatest record ever made, as long as they take turns. I began poking at the concept in 2016, and I began trying to turn it into a book in 2018. There have been steps forward and steps back along the long-threatened book's path to will itself into existence. 

But the book itself was completed a little over a month ago. The current draft totals just under 152,000 words. As I go through revisions and try to get the work to someone who can help make things happen, I want to consolidate a few points in one handy-dandy GREM! reference spot.
