POP-A-LOOZA: THE GREATEST RECORD EVER MADE! Tracey Ullman, "They Don't Know"

Each week, the pop culture website Pop-A-Looza shares some posts from my vast 'n' captivating Boppin' (Like The Hip Folks Do) archives. The latest shared post is a Greatest Record Ever Made! spotlight on "They Don't Know" by Tracey Ullman.

This Tracey Ullman chapter remains in three of the six current drafts for my long-threatened book The Greatest Record Ever Made! (Volume 1). As the piece says, "They Don't Know" was likely the final Fave Rave of my days as an AM Top 40 listener. In the GREM! drafts that include "They Don't Know," the track is positioned between the Selecter's "On My Radio" and Mannix's "Highway Lines" to present a 1-2-3 punch on behalf of the glory and joy of radio. All hail radio!

If the book goes forward, I hope to go with one of the three drafts that include our dear Tracey. In the mean time, her perfect radio song "They Don't Know" is the subject of the latest Boppin' Pop-A-Looza.
