THE COPPERHEAD AFFAIR! My secret agent short story hits comic book stores

My short story "The Copperhead Affair" hits comic book stores Wednesday, December 16th. It's a prose back-up feature in the pages of Second Coming: Only Begotten Son # 1, published by the good folks at AHOY Comics.

Set in the final hour of 1965, "The Copperhead Affair" is my love letter to '60s spy movies and TV shows. It takes place within the same general continuity as my Western short "The Last Ride Of The Copperhead Kid" and my '30s pulp vigilante short "The Copperhead Strikes!," as well as the unfinished '80s punk rock adventure "Chaos At The Copperhead Club." Each is a stand-alone story.

If you're interested in reading "The Copperhead Affair," you can use Comics Shop Locator to find a comic book retailer near you. I recommend calling ahead to see if the store carries AHOY titles and if this issue is in stock; most stores will order a copy for you if one isn't on hand.

Will these extended Copperhead chronicles continue? I...don't know yet. For now, I hope you'll consider a visit to a comic book store, flip the pages back to 1965, and enjoy "The Copperhead Affair."
