This Is Rock 'n' Roll Radio # 1133

For weeks, we've been dropping hints about a cryptic project codenamed Something Else! To the shock and/or surprise of virtually no one, we recently announced that Something Else! is our new compilation album This Is Rock 'n' Roll Radio, Volume 5, which is tentatively due for release circa Septemberish from our friends at Kool Kat Musik

We're nearly set to do the mastering, and we'll be revealing the complete track listing...pretty soon. Trust us. We played the album's first nine tracks (plus two attendant show IDs) on last week's show; this week's shindig includes TIRnRR, Volume 5 treats from In Deed ("Peace & Quiet"), Eytan Mirsky ("This Year's Gonna Be Our Year"), Perilous ("Rock & Roll Kiss"), Deadlights ("Pretend To Pretend"), and Justine and the Unclean ("Vengeance"), with more to come.

Oh, much more to come. This is what rock 'n' roll radio sounded like on a Sunday night in Syracuse this week.

This Is Rock 'n' Roll Radio with Dana & Carl airs Sunday nights from 9 to Midnight Eastern, on the air in Syracuse at SPARK!
