THE GREATEST RECORD EVER MADE! (VOLUME 1): Roll Credits! (And You Can Help)

An infinite number of songs can each be THE greatest record ever made, as long as they take turns.

The long process of turning The Greatest Record Ever Made! (Volume 1) into a book includes the necessary slog of establishing proper credits for each song: songwriter(s), producer(s), and original release. Toward that end, I've established preliminary credits for each of the 127 tracks that receives its own entry in the book. (And yeah, 127 is just an eensy bit larger than the most-recently-announced tally of 125 songs, since I've just added very short Ramones entries to open and close the book.)

In assembling the book and its credits, I confess the sin of using Wikipedia as a significant resource. I regret nothing; Wikipedia is far from perfect, but it's the best overall reference tool available, and it ain't bad as long as we remember it also ain't Gospel.
