This week's show was already recorded and set to open with a track from the wonderful new album by JUSTINE AND THE UNCLEAN when we heard the shocking news that the group's incredible Justine Covault had passed. My brain can't even process this, and we offer our condolences to all of Justine's family and friends. Except for a brief and heartfelt disclaimer at the top, we're leaving this show as-is, to serve as a time-capsule of how jazzed we were about Justine's new record, and how happy we were to play it when we thought she'd still be around to hear it. We'll pay proper tribute to Justine next week. For now: man, just hug the people you love. Pop songs are short. They're over before we know it. Sunday night, 9 to Midnight Eastern, SPARK WSPJ 103.3 and 93.7 FM in Syracuse, and as Westcott Radio on the Radio Garden and TuneIn Radio apps.
