Author and This Is Rock 'n' Roll Radio With Dana & Carl cohost Carl Cafarelli will speak about his new book Gabba Gabba Hey! A Conversation With The Ramones. The book collects Cafarelli's 1994 interviews with Joey, Johnny, Marky, and C.J. Ramone, interviews cited by The Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame as recommended reading when the Ramones were inducted in 2002. Cafarelli will talk about the Ramones, reminisce about seeing the Ramones in Syracuse in the late 1970s (on bills with the Flashcubes, the Runaways, and the Ramones' movie Rock 'n' Roll High School), answer questions, and play a few brief audio snippets from the original telephone interviews. Copies of the book will be available for purchase. The event is free.
