Each week, the pop culture website Pop-A-Looza shares some posts from my vast 'n' captivating Boppin' (Like The Hip Folks Do) archives. The latest shared post is a look back at a short run of a comic book I enjoyed in the '60s, Marvel Super-Heroes # 12-20.
After I'd already selected this post to run at Pop-A-Looza this week, it struck me that Marvel Super-Heroes was a comic that first attracted my interest when I was vacationing in Missouri with my Mom in 1968. Mom passed away on Thursday. The memories remain in place. A memory of a comic book series I started buying with a quarter given to me by my Mom provides the latest Boppin' Pop-A-Looza.
