This Is Rock 'n' Roll Radio # 1130

We had a lot of fab new music to program this time out. The new stuff was toplined by the third of four glorious weeks debuting exclusive advance tracks from Suspension, the forthcoming rockin' pop blockbuster from Pop Co-Op. HuzZAH! We also had to find room for fresh and invigmoratin' releases from Deadlights, Kid Gulliver, Bob Burger, Dave Scarbrough, Spygenius, Kevin Robertson, Nick Piunti and the Complicated Men, and the Sun Sawed In 1/2, and mix 'em all in with a bunch of other fave raves from the early '60s through today. Daunting, but...DONE!

And then we received "Have You Ever Been Torn Apart?," the brand new digital single from the combined power pop prowess of the Flashcubes and the Spongetones. Our two favorite sets of heroes in one adventure together! There was no way in seven hells we were gonna delay playing that. A quick revamp of the playlist, and again...DONE! It wasn't even all that daunting. Plus: POP MUSIC ON THE RADIO!

I love this gig. I really, really love this gig. This is what rock 'n' roll radio sounded like on a Sunday night in Syracuse this week.
