Ramones A-Z

With the publication of my book Gabba Gabba Hey! A Conversation With The Ramones, I've taken to calling 2023 my year of the Ramones. But c'mon! I wrote the book because every year is a year of the Ramones for me. Hey ho, let's GO!

I belong to a number of Ramones groups on Facebook. Months ago in the Ramones 1974-2024 group, Gary Lynn Clevenger posted a challenge to come up with the ABCs of the Ramones. Digging the idea, I made a couple of quick notes, put it aside...and promptly forgot about it entirely. Pretty quick work. Just like the Ramones!

Well, I see the notes here now, so I'm going to finally finish them and call it a blog post. I have avoided looking at anyone else's responses, so my A-Z Ramones list below is something generated solely by me. For my own POV, I am only using references contained in Ramones songs, and Ramones-written songs only--no covers.

NO* research went into the making of today's post.

[*: very little]

Ready? Take it, Dee Dee! A-B-C-D!!
