This Is Rock 'n' Roll Radio with Dana & Carl is simply too large a concept to be neatly contained within a mere three-hour weekly time slot. Hence these occasional fake TIRnRR playlists, detailing shows we're never really going to do...but could.
Our most recent imaginary playlist threw together a bunch of tracks by groups with one-word names. Today, we'll add a word to celebrate groups with two-word names.
For this exercise, we're automatically excluding groups whose names start with a definite article, in any language. This rule disqualifies, say, the Beatles and the Supremes, as well as Los Lobos and Les Handclaps, and it will likewise make Die Toten Hosen ineligible when we get around to a playlist of bands with three-word names.
That playlist is coming soon, though we'll have an entirely different fake TIRnRR in this space before the triple-word group names take the stage some time thereafter. Today: TWO WORDS!
Let's GO!
